Young Women’s Study: Note there is a change in location for the young women’s study for ages 12 to 15. They will now be meeting weekly at the Dover-Foxcroft Mill Cafe on all Saturdays except the first Saturday of each month at 10:15 AM. Far Above Rubies: We will continue our Far Above Rubies study and ladies’ breakfast on the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. All ladies in middle school and up are welcome. Ladies Bible Study and Moms in Prayer International: Our study on “The Prayers of the Bible” will continue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at noon. Moms in Prayer will follow from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Moms In Prayer International: Moms in Prayer groups are meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 1 to 2 PM and 2nd and 4th Fridays from 8 to 9 AM at church (see Michelle Homchuck or Stephanie Dankert) and 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in Milo (see Tami S.). Teen Youth Group: Teens from ages 13-19 are invited each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and are now meeting at the church. For more information, see Rachel Youth Room: We are working on painting and furnishing a youth and meeting room and are looking for donations and volunteers to help. If you have any gently used couches, chairs, coffee tables, or lamps please see Rachel. Baby Shower for Amanda Ober and Dominique Raychard: Please join us for lunch and a baby shower next Sunday, October 21st at noon. Please sign up for what you can bring for lunch. Fall Family “Night of Light”: This is an opportunity for fellowship and outreach to our community and will be held on Sunday, October 28th from 3 - 7 PM, with set-up starting directly after morning service. See Janet Grant or Melissa Preble if you can help with meal set-up/clean-up. There will be a sign-up for the dinner and snacks on the coffee table. Fall Family Night of Light Planning Meeting: There will be a brief meeting after church today in the Youth Room to discuss final preparations for our October 28th Fall Family “Night of Light”. Children’s Ministry Meeting: If you are a Nursery or Sunday School worker or helper please plan to attend a brief meeting after church on Sunday, November 4th. Praying for Your Adult Children Prayer Group: This weekly prayer time is now taking place in Milo on Friday nights at 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Please see or call Melissa Preble at 207-631-4947 for more details. Sunday Children’s Ministry: We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4-7 and ages 8-11. Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church. Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship. Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service. Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service. For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area. Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows. Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices. Coffee and snacks will no longer be available during the service. Free Will Offerings: We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table.
