ANNOUNCEMENTS

Operation Christmas Child: Collection date for our church will November 17th.  There is an orange box in the hallway through November 10th.  We will be hosting a community packing party on November 16th from 9:00-11:00 AM.  October donation items are school supplies, fun accessories (hats, bracelets, sun glasses), toys (yo-yo's, matchbox cars, puzzles), and wow items (small stuffed animals, dolls, flash lights with batteries).  Please no military/firearm-related items.  For more information, talk to Chanda G.


Youth Group:  Will now be running till 8:30 p.m. If this presents an inconvenience for any parent, you are still welcome to pick your teen up at 8:00.


Christmas Choir:  Starting next Sunday November 10th, our Children's Ministry will be meeting every Sunday, during worship to practice for our Christmas Choir.


Christmas Potluck and Family Craft Fair:  Please join us Sunday, December 8th after church for this event.  Sign up at the resource table if you would like to participate in the craft fair, there is no fee to participate or attend.  Although craft fair tables will only be available to those attending CCMH, you are welcome to invite family and friends to come to the craft fair.   We will also be raising funds for the Calvary Residential Discipleship Program by raffling off donated crafts and selling calendars.  See Michael Kagan FMI.  


Fragrances:  For the health and comfort of everyone, please refrain from wearing fragrances as much as possible.  Thank you!


Set-up Helpers Needed!  We are in need of more help to set up the auditorium Sunday mornings at 8 am, see Micah if you can help.


Far Above Rubies: Please note that our next Far Above Rubies will be next Saturday, November 9th from 8:30 - 11:00.  Come join us for breakfast and Bible study.


Ladies Bible Study & Moms in Prayer:  Our next meeting time will be this Tuesday, November 5th at 1:00 PM.


Men’s Breakfast:  Join us the third Saturday of each month at 7:30 AM.


Mid-week Study: join us for our mid-week study, as we start a new book! Colossians - The preeminence of Christ...

Children’s Ministry Servants Needed: We can use more help! If you have a heart for kids and can commit to 1 Sunday per month? Grab a ministry application in the hall, and talk to Tami S.  (12yo - Adult)


Women’s Bible study:  Meeting the 1st & 3rd Tuesday’s from 1:00 to 2:00 PM


Moms In Prayer International:  Meeting the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at church beginning September 17th (see Michelle Homchuck). 2nd & 4th Fridays from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at church (Contact Stephanie Dankert @ 207-343-1880). 1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 PM in Milo (resuming Nov 6th) Contact Tami S. @ 207-478-7581 


Teen Youth Group:  All teens are invited each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the church for youth group.  For more information, see Rachel

Children’s Ministry Snacks: Donations of foods such as popcorn, graham crackers, and animal crackers are always appreciated.

The Cure from Addiction: Meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM.


Calvary Highlanders:  The Calvary Highlanders (Royal Rangers) meets Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  This program is for boys in grades K-12. If you would like to help sponsor a Calvary Highlander please see Andy Torbett.  Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a participant; snacks for Thursday evening meetings are always welcome, as well!

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two children’s Bible classes designed for ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.  Don’t forget to sign them in before 9:30.  Children who are signed-in will be dismissed to their classes from the sanctuary.  Nursery drop-off is available in the Nursery starting at 9:15 am, for infants ─ 3 years old.  ***Please - Sign out your children from Class / Nursery as soon as possible after the service, for the respect of the servants’ time.***  Questions? Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.  Coffee and snacks will no longer be available during the service.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your tithes and offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

We Believe

The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.


That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.


In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless blood, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.


That the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.


In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.


In the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation. 


In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
