Christmas Trees:  If you would like to make a donation of $20 to $30 that will go to both Operation Christmas Child and His Light for Haiti, you will receive a voucher to pick out a Christmas tree at John Johnston’s farm in Parkman.  Please go to the table in the hall to make your donation.

Men’s Breakfast:  Join us the third Saturday each month at 7:30 AM.

Little Ladies Formal Christmas Tea Party:  For girls ages 3 - 11 this coming Saturday, December 1st from 10 to Noon in the Youth Room.  See Alaina FMI.  

Calvary Chapel Central Maine Women’s Christmas Breakfast:  This coming Saturday, December 1, doors opening at 8:30 AM.  Special guest speaker will be Karen Pulley. This is a free event in Orrington.

Women’s Christmas Coffee & Craft Fair:  Saturday, December 8th from 9:00 to Noon.  Please see Kim Kagan if you’d like to participate in the craft fair.  There will be no Far Above Rubies in December.

Women’s Calvary Residential Discipleship Christmas Gifts:  We are putting a Christmas care box together for the women in the CRD program.  Please see Michelle FMI.

Security Volunteers: We are seeking men who have a heart to serve as part of our security team. If you are interested please speak to Rich Areeda .

Young Women’s Study:  Note there is a change in location for the young women’s study for ages 12 to 15.  They will now be meeting weekly here at church on all Saturdays except the first Saturday of each month at 10:15 AM.

Far Above Rubies:  Far Above Rubies study and ladies’ breakfast are held the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.  All ladies age 12 and up are welcome.

Ladies Bible Study and Moms in Prayer International:  Will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays for November and December at noon.  All other Moms in Prayer groups will also meet the 1st and 3rd weeks until after Christmas.

Moms In Prayer International:  All Moms in Prayer groups will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd weeks of November and December to avoid conflicts with Holidays.  

Moms in Prayer groups will resume in January meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 1 to 2 PM and 2nd and 4th Fridays from 8 to 9 AM at church (see Michelle Homchuck or Stephanie Dankert) and 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in Milo (see Tami S.).

Teen Youth Group:  All teens are invited each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church for youth group.  For more information, see Rachel

Children’s Ministry Snacks: Donations of foods such as popcorn, graham crackers, and animal crackers are always appreciated.

Home Bible Study:  Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at the home of Ray & Betty Beless

The Cure from Addiction Meetings: Will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Calvary Highlanders:  The Calvary Highlanders (Royal Rangers) meets Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  This program is for boys in grades K-12. If you would like to help sponsor a Calvary Highlander please see Andy Torbett.  Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a participant; snacks for Thursday evening meetings are always welcome, as well!

Praying for Your Adult Children Prayer Group:  This weekly prayer time is now taking place in Milo on Friday nights at 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  Please see or call Melissa Preble at 207-631-4947 for more details.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two children’s Bible classes designed for ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.  Don’t forget to sign them in before 9:30.  Children who are signed-in will be dismissed to there classes from the sanctuary.  Nursery drop of is available in the Nursery starting at 9:15a, for infants ─ 3 years old.  ***Please Sign-out your children from Class / Nursery as soon as possible after the service, for respect of the servants time.***  Questions? Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.  Coffee and snacks will no longer be available during the service.

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your tithes and offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

We Believe

The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.

That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless blood, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
