ANNOUNCEMENTS

Potluck Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal This Sunday:  We have been invited to join several area churches that will be gathering at the SeDoMoCha cafeteria on Sunday, November 24th at 5:00 PM for a Thanksgiving potluck.  

Storm Cancellations: Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-2.  The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account (@ccmhtweet).


Calvary Chapel Women’s Christmas Celebration:  Join us at Calvary Chapel in Orrington, Tuesday, December 10th at 7:00 PM with special guest Genevieve Falleur for Christmas music, a devotional, fancy pastries, coffee and tea.  The cost is $10.00.  Pre-register online at ccbangor.org.  Let Michelle know if you are going: some of us will be carpooling and having dinner in Bangor before going to the church.

Host an International Student:  If you would like to open you home to an international student attending Foxcroft Academy over Winter break (December 21 - January 1), please contact Michelle as soon as possible.


Women’s Christmas Brunch:  Join us Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 AM at CCMH.  


Christmas Party at the Homchucks:  Saturday, December 7th at 4:00 PM (for adults and teens only as space is limited).  There will be a dinner sign-up next week.  Call 564-9058 for directions or more information.


Christmas Concert:  Sunday, December 15th at 6:00 PM.  Join us here at Morton Avenue as the band “The Road Narrows”  leads us in a time of Christmas celebration.  There will be cookies and hot cocoa to follow.


Moms-In-Prayer:  We will be meeting regularly on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays each month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  All MIP meetings will normally be at the home of BettyAnn Homchuck.  


Ladies’ Ephesians Study:  We will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays each month from noon to 1:00 PM.  


Bring in your old eyeglasses: If you have old eyeglassses you don’t need bring them to church and they will be given to EPI ministry to re-distribute on a missions trip.  Thank you!


Children’s Music Program for Christmas Sunday:  If your child will be singing in the children’s program on Christmas Sunday, December 22nd, we will be practicing Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM before the morning service.  See Kellie Reardon for more information.  Families are invited to join us for lunch after service and then go to Pleasant Meadows Assisted Living at 12:30 as the children will be sharing special Christmas music.  


Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We now offer two Sunday School classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.  Thank You!
