Child Safety Presentation:  Alex Bourgoin of Child Evangelism Fellowship will be sharing some important information on child and teacher safety at our next Servant’s Meeting on November 20th.  All children’s ministry workers are encouraged to attend.


Women’s Christmas Dinner, Adore Him: at CC Bangor on Tuesday, November 29th at 6:00 PM. Gia Lucid will be sharing her music and some words to help us focus on the Lord Jesus Christ this Christmas season.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here at church or online at ccbangor.org


Ladies Breakfast & Devotional:  First Saturday of the month at 8:30 AM


Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes for "Love Your Neighbor" Ministry:  We are collecting the following non-perishable food items:  canned vegetables, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pudding/cake mixes, pre-cooked canned ham, instant or canned potatoes, yams, pickles, olives, and paper goods.


Save the Date for the 2017 Summer Family Retreat:  For anyone who needs to plan in advance, we will be out at Peaks-Kenny State Park from July 13, 2017 - July 17, 2017.  The state parks office will begin accepting online and phone reservations in early February 2017.


Operation Christmas Child:  Please consider packing an OCC shoebox for a child in need.  We will be hosting potluck lunch and shoebox packing party after the morning service on November 13th.  Please turn in all OCC shoeboxes by November 13th at the packing party.


Tuesday Night Community Board Gaming and Youth Group:  There’s lots going on at CCMH on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.  We offer a community board gaming group (all ages are welcome).  We have a supervised youth group with games, volleyball, basketball and a devotional time taking place (ages 10 and up).  We are now meeting at church for the fall and winter months.  For more information, talk to the Homchucks, Anthony Willis or Ray Landry. (207-564-8362).  There is also a Moms in Prayer meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.


The Cure for Addiction Weekly Meeting: We will be hosting our own meetings on Mondays at 6:00 PM starting October 3rd.  Please grab some flyers to hand out to those affected by drug or alcohol addiction or to put up around town.  There is also a meeting Thursdays at 6:00 PM at Calvary Chapel in Orrington.  Meetings are open to the public with childcare provided.  The Cure also provides family support groups for all those who have a loved one struggling with addiction.  Call 207-564-9058 (CCMH) or call 207-991-9555 (for CC Bangor) for more information or transportation.


Wednesday Ladies’ Bible Study:  Noon here at CCMH on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for November & December.  We are currently finishing up the book of Esther.  Moms in Prayer follows from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. (See Betty Ann Homchuck).

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study: Third Saturday each month at 7:30 AM.  

Tuesday Night Moms in Prayer:  Here at CCMH from 6:00 to 7:00 PM (See Michelle Homchuck).

Write to Our Compassion Child:  There is a letter from our Compassion child, Mary, on the information table.  If you would like to write to her on behalf of the church, please feel free to take the letter and packet.  

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (cheese crackers, graham crackers, fruit, pretzels, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer, half and half, water bottles

Weekly Home Fellowship:  Ray and Betty Beless host a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM in their home on Mayo Street. Please call 207-564-3459.

Praying for Your Adult Children Prayer Group:  Paul and Melissa Preble will be hosting a weekly prayer time Friday nights at 6:30 to 8:00 PM in their home on 1138 Range Rd. in Dover-Foxcroft.  Please call 207-631-4947 or 207-478-8910.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  This Sunday is Step-Up Sunday for all children that have turned 8 or 12 moving up into the next class.  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service.  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  


Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
