Prayer for the Persecuted Church:  Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, and in observance, our prayer time at 6:00 PM at BettyAnn’s home will be focussed on our brothers and sisters around the world being persecuted for their faith in Christ.  For more information, visit www.persecution.com

Ladies Brunch and Craft:  We will be having our next ladies event on Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 AM.  Please see Lynette Dow if you would like to make a fall pumpkin wreath.

Relief Fund for Hill Family: Pastor Isaiah Hill and his wife of the Sebec Corners Baptist Church lost their home to fire last week; they had no insurance.  If you feel led to help, see Dave or Michelle.

Operation Christmas Child:  Please consider sending a child an OCC Christmas package.  Have your packages turned in here at CCMH by Sunday, November 15th.  If you would rather donate money or bring in items to fill boxes, we will be having a shoebox packing event after church on November 15th.  See Lynette Dow for more information or visit our homepage.

Ladies’ Bible Study:  2nd & 4th Tuesdays at noon.  We’ll be studying the Book of Esther with David Jeremiah.

Moms in Prayer:  Meeting each Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  MIPI meetings will normally be at the home of Michelle Homchuck (717-4922).

Good News Club:  We are sponsoring a Good News Club at SeDoMoCha.  Please pray for this ministry, and consider making an offering to help support this effort (“Good News” in the check memo).  See Michelle for more information.

Christian Anger Management Group for Men: Meets Sunday evenings here at Morton Avenue from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

Please continue to uplift in prayer the missions and families we support:

Sunday Evening Prayer Time: 6:00 PM at the home of Betty Ann Homchuck

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.

Nursery:  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  Other children will no longer be allowed to play in the nursery area before & after church.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (Chex cereal, cheese crackers, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer & coffee stirrers

The set list will appear here weekly with the announcements.  Please note that we are blessed to have a worship team that seeks the Holy Spirit in leading us in worship, and therefore, this list is subject to His changes.  The number next to each song is the CCLI number.  You can visit CCLI’s Song Select site for more information on each of these songs.
