ANNOUNCEMENTS


Operation Christmas Child:  Any and all donations are gladly accepted, but please no candy or toothpaste.  Shipping is $9/box. Church Packing Party after the AM service today.  Collection week is THIS week.  FMI see Chanda Gould.


Men’s Breakfast:  Join us the third Saturday each month at 7:30 AM.


Little Ladies Formal Christmas Tea Party:  For girls ages 3 - 11 on Saturday, December 1st from 10 to Noon in the Youth Room.  See Alaina FMI.  


Women’s Christmas Coffee & Craft Fair:   Saturday, December 8th from 9:00 to Noon.  Please see Kim Kagan if you’d like to participate in the craft fair.  There will be no Far Above Rubies in December.


Security Staff Opportunities: We are seeking men so called to serve as part of our security team. If you are interested please speak to Rich Areeda or Micah S.


Young Women’s Study:  Note there is a change in location for the young women’s study for ages 12 to 15.  They will now be meeting weekly here at church on all Saturdays except the first Saturday of each month at 10:15 AM.


Far Above Rubies:  Far Above Rubies study and ladies’ breakfast are held the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.  All ladies age 12 and up are welcome.


Raychard Addition:  The newest Raychard family member, Baby Henry, arrived healthy on Saturday morning.  Momma and baby are recovering nicely, and Greg was able to see the birth from Afghanistan via Facetime.


Christmas Care packages:  We are collecting items for Christmas Care packages for Greg and Tysen.  Please bring your items to church by NEXT SUNDAY.


Ladies Bible Study and Moms in Prayer International:  Our study on “The Prayers of the Bible” will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays for November and December at noon. Moms in Prayer will follow from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.  


Moms In Prayer International:  All Moms in Prayer groups will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd weeks of November and December to avoid conflicts with Holidays.  

Moms in Prayer groups will resume in January meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 1 to 2 PM and 2nd and 4th Fridays from 8 to 9 AM at church (see Michelle Homchuck or Stephanie Dankert) and 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in Milo (see Tami S.).


Teen Youth Group:  All teens are invited each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church for youth group.  For more information, see Rachel


Youth Room:  We are working on painting and furnishing a youth and meeting room and are looking for donations and volunteers to help.  


Bridal Shower:  There will be a bridal shower for Rachel Homchuck next Sunday, November 18th at 2:30 PM in our youth room.  See the snack table for invitations and to sign up for refreshments.


Children’s Ministry Snacks: Donations of foods such as popcorn, graham crackers, and animal crackers are always appreciated.

Home Bible Study:  Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at the home of Ray & Betty Beless


The Cure from Addiction Meetings: Will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM.


Calvary Highlanders:  The Calvary Highlanders (Royal Rangers) meets Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  This program is for boys in grades K-12. If you would like to help sponsor a Calvary Highlander please see Andy Torbett.  Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a participant; snacks for Thursday evening meetings are always welcome, as well!

Praying for Your Adult Children Prayer Group:  This weekly prayer time is now taking place in Milo on Friday nights at 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  Please see or call Melissa Preble at 207-631-4947 for more details.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes during worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service.  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or nursery workers enter the nursery area.  


Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.  Coffee and snacks will no longer be available during the service.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your tithes and offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

We Believe

The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.


That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.


In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless blood, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
