Weekly Home Fellowship and Bible Studies:

Home Bible study meets in Levant the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 6:00 PM.  Please contact Greg or Dominique Raychard at 207-671-8429 for directions.

Ray and Betty Beless host a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM in their home on Mayo Street. Please call 207-564-3459.

National Day of Prayer:  Please join us Thursday May 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at CCMH as we gather with other believers in the community to pray and worship.


Men’s Breakfast:  We will be having a men’s breakfast and fellowship time on May 23rd at 7:30 AM here at the church.  Please bring a food items to share.


Calvary Chapel Women’s Retreat:   Mark your calendar for this year’s retreat which will be held at Point Lookout on May 8-9 (Friday evening to Saturday afternoon).


Overcoming Conference:  Saturday, May 16th from 8:30 AM until noon noon at the Charleston Church of the Open Bible.  Lori Kennedy, founder & director of Alpha and Omega Ministries in Georgia (www.lorikennedy.com), will be speaking and leading worship.  Brunch will be included with the $10.00 registration.  Please call Marcia at 285-7244 to register.  See event information www.facebook.com/charlestoncob


2015 Summer Family Retreat: We will be camping together again at Peaks-Kenny State Park July 9-13, 2015.  For more information regarding campsite reservation, visit our website: ccmainehighlands.org

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.


Nursery:  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  Other children will no longer be allowed to play in the nursery area before & after church.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Nursery Needs:  We have several babies and more on the way; yeah!  In order to make it more comfortable for the moms, we are hoping to provide a few rockers and a pack-n-play (in very good condition).  If you can help, please let Michelle know.  Thank you!

Moms in Prayer:  Meeting each Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  MIPI meetings will normally be at the home of Michelle Homchuck (717-4922).  

Ladies Bible Study: Betty Ann Homchuck is leading a study on “Spiritual Warfare” by Dr. David Jeremiah the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 PM here at church. There will be a Grandmother’s In Prayer group meeting directly after the Bible study for those who would like to stay from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (Chex cereal, cheese crackers, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer & coffee stirrers
