READING SUNDAY AM MESSAGE: “Care of the Church Family” SUNDAY AM MESSAGE TEXT I Timothy 5 SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP During the winter months we are offering a time after our Sunday morning service for a fellowship meal, open Bible study discussion, instructional videos on location in Israel, and game time for children and families. Please plan to join us by preparing a meal ahead of time to share, and enjoy getting to know your church family better. THURSDAY EVENING 6:00 PM at Morton Avenue Join us for our study in the book of Micah ANNOUNCEMENTS 2014 Summer Family Retreat: We’ll be camping at Peaks Kenny again this year. Plan to join us July 17-21. Reservations are now available! Reserve as soon as possible to be sure you have a campsite near the group. Visit our homepage for more information. Moms-In-Prayer: We will be meeting regularly on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays each month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15). All MIP meetings will normally be at the home of BettyAnn Homchuck. Ladies’ Ephesians Study: We will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays each month from noon to 1:00 PM. Thank You! Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products. These are a great help to the church! We will post monthly what our current needs are so that you will know what to bring in. Currently we are need of Matzo bread and communion cups (sold at Christianbook.com). Please continue to bring in your own plates etc. for church dinners and travel mugs for coffee if possible. Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School. Creation Ministries International speaker coming to CCMH: Please mark your calendars and invite others to join us Sunday, April 27th at 6:00 PM. Scott Gillis speaking on Creation: Impacting our Culture. God’s Not Dead! This is an amazing Christian film you will especially want to let teens know about. Check out the trailer at godsnotdeadthemovie.com. Continue to join us in prayer for the impact God’s Not Dead the movie will have in people's lives. This film is a tool God put in the hearts of men to make, and now the day is drawing close to having this film and message out. We want nothing more than God to receive glory! Download the prayer guide on the web site and join us each day as we lift up and count down to the March 21st release of God’s Not Dead. Sunday Children’s Ministry: We now offer two Sunday School classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12. Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church. The sign-in form is located on the resource table. Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship. Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service. Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms. Hospital Chaplaincy Service: The Hospital Chaplaincy is in desperate need of all the comfort items they provide to over 15,000 residents in assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation and boarding facilities of Maine. If you are able to make any of these hand sewn, knitted or crochet items, you can see Hallie Downing for a list and patterns. These simple gifts make a huge difference in the lives of the residents. Thank you! Offering Envelopes: There are offering envelopes now available at the offering box for cash offerings. In order to receive an annual donor letter for tax purposes, include your name and mailing address on the first envelope and simply your name on subsequent envelopes. These are completely optional and provided solely as a convenience. WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices. Free Will Offerings: We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table.
