Weekly Home Fellowship and Bible Studies:

Home Bible study meets in Levant the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 6:00 PM.  Please contact Greg or Dominique Raychard at 207-671-8429 for directions.

Ray and Betty Beless host a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM in their home on Mayo Street. Please call 207-564-3459.

Man Up Maine Event (Men’s Conference):  8:00 AM on Saturday June 27th at Calvary Chapel, Orrington, Maine.  This years  speakers include Billy Rutledge, Rian Gitman and Marcus McClure, Don McClure's son with musical guest Dennis Agajanian. Dennis will also be doing a concert Sunday night, June 26th. Cost is just $25.00 which includes coffee and doughnuts. There will be a tailgate lunch in the parking lot.  There’s a link on our homepage to register:  ccmainehighlands.org


Grief Counseling:  On June 24th a four week grief care class will be offered during our Thursday evening bible study time from 6:00-7:00 PM. This class is designed to instruct individuals how to care for those struggling with loss and grief, and to comfort them with the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.


Honoring Graduates:  On June 14th, we will be honoring our high school and college graduates.  Join us for the potluck barbecue, and then stay for the concert!


Fishers of Men Concert:  Invite your family and friends for a free concert and cookout after church on Sunday, June 14th.  Please bring something for the grill and a dish to share.


Moms in Prayer Night of Praise!  Join us on Tuesday, June 16th at 5 PM at the home of Michelle Homchuck for dinner and the sharing of all the Lord has done through our prayers as we wrap up MiPI for the summer. All MiPI groups are invited, as well as any ladies interested in being in a group next year.  See Michelle if you can come.


2015 Summer Family Retreat:  We will be camping together again at Peaks-Kenny State Park July 9-13, 2015.  The Sunday morning service on July 12th will be at the park’s group shelter.


Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.


Nursery:  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  Other children will no longer be allowed to play in the nursery area before & after church.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Moms in Prayer:  Meeting each Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  MIPI meetings will normally be at the home of Michelle Homchuck (717-4922).  

Ladies Bible Study: Betty Ann Homchuck is leading a study on “Spiritual Warfare” by Dr. David Jeremiah the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 PM here at church. There will be a Grandmother’s In Prayer group meeting directly after the Bible study for those who would like to stay from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (Chex cereal, cheese crackers, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer & coffee stirrers
