Teen Fellowship Opportunity:  Teens from ages 13-19 are invited to a Bible study and fellowship event each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM during July and August.  The event will be held in the backyard of BettyAnn Homchuck’s residence. For more information, see Rachel (when she’s back from her trip).

Camp Hero VBS at CC Orrington: This year's Lego-themed Vacation Bible School is called "CAMP HERO".  June 25 - 29. Sign your kids up today. Ages 5-12 only. 9:00 AM to noon (drop off begins at 8:30 AM).

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study:  Third Saturday each month at 7:30 AM

Bread of Life Ministry:  We will no longer be collecting clothing for the homeless ministry but prayer and help with meal distribution on Saturday mornings are always welcome.  See Marc Dill or Mike Kagan for more information.

2018 Summer Family Retreat:  We’ll be camping at Peaks-Kenny again this summer from July 12-16.  Please note that we will be at the Peaks-Kenny Group Shelter near the beach for our Sunday morning service on July 15th.  

Fair and Outreach Training:   Today following a potluck lunch, there will be a training for all those interested in learning more about how to use animal balloons, the Wordless Book and other methods for sharing the gospel.  See Paul or Melissa Preble for more information.

Home Bible Study:  Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at the home of Ray & Betty Beless

Ladies’ Bible Study:  Here at Morton Avenue from noon to 1:00 PM, and will be held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.  Moms in Prayer will follow from 1:00 to 2:00.

The Cure from Addiction Meetings: Will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Far Above Rubies Biblical Womanhood Study and Workshop:   First Saturday of the month  from 8:30 to 11:00 AM for ladies high school and up. This is a biblical discipleship time for women of all ages and seasons in life.  Each month there will be a Bible study time and practical workshop addressing home management and other skills. Don’t forget to bring something to share for breakfast, there is a sign-up on the snack table.  

Revelation Study on Thursdays:  We are studying through The Revelation of Jesus Christ. For those unable to attend the messages are available at ccmainehighlands.org

Calvary Highlanders:  The Calvary Highlanders (Royal Rangers) will meet Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  This program is for boys in grades K-12. If you would like to help sponsor a Calvary Highlander please see Andy Torbett.  Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a participant; snacks for Thursday evening meetings are always welcome, as well!

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church! Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

Praying for Your Adult Children Prayer Group:  This weekly prayer time is now taking place in Milo on Friday nights at 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  Please see or call Melissa Preble at 207-631-4947 for more details.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service.  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.  Coffee and snacks will no longer be available during the service.

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

We Believe

The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.

That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless blood, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
