READING I Corinthians 15:1-11 SUNDAY AM MESSAGE TITLE “Encouragement For Difficult Ministry” SUNDAY AM MESSAGE TEXT I Timothy 1:1-17 SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP During the winter months we are offering a time after our Sunday morning service for a fellowship meal, open Bible study discussion, instructional videos on location in Israel, and game time for children and families. Please plan to join us by preparing a meal ahead of time to share, and enjoy getting to know your church family better. THURSDAY EVENING 6:00 PM at Morton Avenue Join us for our study in the book of Jonah ANNOUNCEMENTS Storm Cancellations: Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-2. The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account (@ccmhtweet). Moms-In-Prayer: We will be meeting regularly on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays each month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15). All MIP meetings will normally be at the home of BettyAnn Homchuck. Ladies’ Ephesians Study: We will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays each month from noon to 1:00 PM. Bring in your old eyeglasses: If you have old eyeglassses you don’t need bring them to church and they will be given to EPI ministry to re-distribute on a missions trip. Thank you! Can You Help? In an effort to cut expenses, we ask that you consider helping in the following ways: donate a bag of coffee, sugar, creamer, or snacks for Sunday School, paper goods for fellowship times or cleaning supplies. Also, bring a travel mug for your coffee. Thanks for your help and we’d appreciate your ideas, too! January 12th Ladies Brunch: This Saturday at 10:00 AM. Suz Kasprazak, wife of Calvary Chapel Kennebec Valley pastor Adam Kasprazak, will be sharing with us. Please sign up if you can come. Ladies Winter Retreat: We will be having a mini-retreat weekend February 21-22 in Ripley. Storm date will be February 28-29. The cost is $20 per person, and overnight accommodations are limited to 17; however, you may come to all events and opt not stay overnight. More details will follow. Please see Michelle if you would like to attend. Sunday Children’s Ministry: We now offer two Sunday School classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12. Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church. The sign-in form is located on the resource table. Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship. Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service. Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms. Thank You! Free Will Offerings: We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table.
