Weekly Home Fellowship and Bible Studies:

Home Bible study meets in Levant the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 6:00 PM.  Please contact Greg or Dominique Raychard at 207-671-8429 for directions.

Ray and Betty Beless host a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM in their home on Mayo Street. Please call 207-564-3459.

Marriage Enrichment:  Join us Sunday, March 8th after church for lunch at the Newport Pizza Hut (around 12:30) followed by bowling at the Newport Entertainment Center (near Hannaford).  Please sign up at the snack table so we know how many to expect.


Ladies Brunch:  Please join us Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 AM at CCMH.


Moms in Prayer State Getaway:  “In Step with the Spirit”  is the theme for our MiPI Maine State Getaway scheduled for April 10-11 at the Vacationland Inn in Brewer, Maine.  See Michelle if you are looking for roommates.  Send the completed form and $25 to the address on the form (available at the information table).   Also, see the form for lodging information:  207-989-5450 or www.vacationlandinn.com.  The registration deadline is March 31st.


Baby Shower:  Ladies are invited to join us for a baby shower for Allyson Vieira (Paul & Patty Davis’s granddaughter) and baby Ella (due March 13th).  The shower will be at CCMH on Saturday, April 18th at 10:00 AM.  Please RSVP by April 11th (Patty: 876-4047 or Michelle: 717-4922). She is registered at Burlington Coat Factory and Babies ’R Us.  See Michelle for information about a joint gift opportunity or if you can make any refreshments.

Cancellations: Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WLBZ-2.  The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account (@ccmhtweet).


Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.


Nursery:  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.  Other children will no longer be allowed to play in the nursery area before & after church.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Moms in Prayer:  Meeting each Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  MIPI meetings will normally be at the home of Michelle Homchuck (717-4922).  

Ladies Bible Study: Betty Ann Homchuck is leading a study on “Spiritual Warfare” by Dr. David Jeremiah the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 PM here at church. There will be a Grandmother’s In Prayer group meeting directly after the Bible study for those who would like to stay from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.


Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.


Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (Chex cereal, cheese crackers, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer & coffee stirrers
