ANNOUNCEMENTS

(LOCATION CHANGE) Tuesday Night Community Board Gaming and Youth Group:  There’s lots going on at CCMH on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.  We offer a community board gaming group (all ages are welcome).  We have a supervised youth group with games, volleyball, basketball and a devotional time taking place (ages 10 and up).  As of August 23rd, we will be meeting at church for the fall and winter months.  For more information, talk to the Homchuck’s, Jim Reardon or Ray Landry. (207-564-8362)

The Cure for Addiction Weekly Meeting:  Thursdays at 6:00 PM at Calvary Chapel in Orrington.  Meetings are open to the public with childcare provided.  The Cure also provides family support groups for all those who have a loved one struggling with addiction.  Call 207-991-9555 for more information or transportation.

Moms in Prayer International:  Our Tuesday evening MIPI group will not be meeting during the summer.

Thank You!  Thanks to those who have helped so far by bringing in coffee, children’s snacks, or paper products.  These are a great help to the church!  Snacks are always appreciated on the snack table or for Sunday School.  Current needs include:

  • Sunday School snacks (cheese crackers, graham crackers, fruit, pretzels, gluten & dairy-free snacks)

  • Liquid coffee creamer, half and half, water bottles

Missions

Please continue to uplift in prayer the missions and families we support:

  • Blessed Hope and Seven Oaks Residential Discipleship Ministries

  • Donna Woerter of Child Evangelism Fellowship Southern Maine

  • Compassion International

  • Mike and Margaret Warman of Safe Families

  • Weekly Saturday meal distribution to homeless in downtown Bangor

Weekly Home Fellowship:  Ray and Betty Beless host a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM in their home on Mayo Street. Please call 207-564-3459.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We offer two Sunday school classes for children ages 4-7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service.  For the safety of our children, we ask that only parents with children in nursery or the 4-7 year old class and nursery workers enter the nursery area.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Please join us as at 12:30 PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as we lead a service at Pleasant Meadows.

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

WORSHIP SET LIST

The set list will appear here weekly with the announcements.  Please note that we are blessed to have a worship team that seeks the Holy Spirit in leading us in worship, and therefore, this list is subject to His changes.  The number next to each song is the CCLI number.  You can visit CCLI’s Song Select site for more information on each of these songs.
