ANNOUNCEMENTS

National Day of Prayer:  Please join us Thursday, May 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Greenville on Pritham Ave. at the American Legion Hall. One Voice United in Prayer emphasizes unity in the Body of Christ and the need for His people, corporately and individually, to join together and place their faith and prayers in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities and men. Last year 15 area churches joined in prayer.  There will also be a time of food and fellowship.

30 Days Muslim Prayer Guides:  The 2014 prayer guides are now available to be ordered at worldchristian.com.  These are great tools for adults and kids to pray for Muslims around the world during Ramadan (June 28 to July 27).

Attention Moms! Do you worry about your children? Come experience God’s peace and hope when you pray alongside other moms. Moms in Prayer International, gathers moms together to pray for God to transform our children and schools. Won’t you join with us in prayer for this next generation? Please contact Michelle Homchuck if you are interested in joining or starting a MIP group.  We will be meeting every Tuesday evening at 6:00 with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (until 7:15).  All MIP meetings will normally be at the home of BettyAnn Homchuck. For more information about Moms in Prayer International, visit www.MomsInPrayer.org.

Ladies’ Ephesians Study:  We will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays each month from noon to 1:00 PM.

Creation Ministries International Speaker:  Please mark your calendars and invite others to join us this Sunday, April 27th at 6:00 PM.  Scott Gillis will be giving a presentation entitled “Creation: Impacting our Culture”.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We now offer two Sunday School classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.

Hospital Chaplaincy Service: The Hospital Chaplaincy is in desperate need of all the comfort items they provide to over 15,000 residents in assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation and boarding facilities of Maine.  If you are able to make any of these hand sewn, knitted or crochet items, you can see Hallie Downing for a list and patterns.  These simple gifts make a huge difference in the lives of the residents.  Thank you!

WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
