Calvary Chapel Downeast’s Annual Men’s Conference & Shoot Out: September 17th with breakfast at 8:00 AM and the shoot out in the afternoon ending at approximately 3:00 PM.  Pastor Dave and Pastor Aaron Dudley will be teaching.  There will be a barbecue lunch (feel free to bring food to grill or share).  A donation of $10.00 is welcome, but not necessary to attend.  Firearms and ammunition for the shoot out are provided.  Calvary Chapel Downeast is located at 513-1 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton, Maine.

Ladies Bible Study:  Our ladies study is resuming this Tuesday, September 13th noon to 1:30 PM and will continue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.  Please join us for a time of study, prayer and fellowship.  We will be using a study on the women of Gensis entitled Live Relationally  Please see Michelle if you need the book.  

Lending Library:  Our lending library is located in our classroom and is available to anyone who would like to borrow resources.  For more information or to check out a resource, see our librarian, Lisa Bowden.  If you have books or other media resources that you wish to donate, see Lisa or Michelle.

Under the Son Festival: September 17th at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 250 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Artists include Grant Norsworthy and Salvation’s House, as well as Fishers of Men and many others.  The event will have a main focus on a ministry called “Haley’s Hope” whose mission is the prevention of teen suicide.  Operation Christmas Child and Haiti missions will also be represented.

Tithes & Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
