ANNOUNCEMENTS


Men’s Conference:  The date for the Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference has been set for October 5, 2013 in Orrington.


Fall Family Fun Night:  Join us on Sunday at 4:00 PM, September 29th at 281 Wharff Road, Guilford, Maine (Betty Ann Homchuck’s house). There will be a campfire, outdoor games and a buffet supper.


Women’s Self-Defense Class:  Starting on September 12th there will be an 8-week women’s self defense class meeting from 7:15-8:30 PM on Thursday nights.  The cost is $25 per person for the entire course.  The instructor will be Fred Maddocks.  Please call 564-9058 for more information.


Fall Women’s Ministry Schedule:  Please pick up a copy of the schedule on the resource table.

Mom’s-In-Prayer:  There will be a special back-to-school MIP meeting Monday, August 26th, 6:00-7:00 PM.  We will be meeting regularly on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays each month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with prayer starting promptly at 6:15 PM (unti 7:15).  All MIP meetings will be at the home of BettyAnn Homchuck.


Ladies’ Ephesians Study:  Starting Tuesday, September 10th.  We will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays each month from noon to 1:00 PM.  


Ladies Monthly Breakfast & Events:  Our first breakfast will be Saturday, September 14th from 8:00-10:00 AM at CCMH.  Bring any money-saving ideas you have to share from DIY projects, homemade items, budgeting and thrifty shopping.  We will meet regularly the second Saturday of each month.


Ministry Opportunity:  Due to physical difficulties, our sister Michaela Michaud has frequent doctors’ appointments locally, but is unable to drive herself to them.  If you are able to be called upon on occasion to offer transportation to our sister, please let Michaela or Michelle know.  


Sunday Children’s Ministry:  We now offer two Sunday School classes for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  The sign-in form is located on the resource table.  Both groups will be dismissed to their classes after worship.  Nursery is available for infants through age 3 during the entire service.  Please pick up your children from Sunday School/Nursery as soon as possible after the service so teachers can begin cleaning up their classrooms.  Thank You!

Free Will Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
