Today’s Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 3:1-9

Today’s Message: 1 John 4:7-21 "This is Love"

Tonight: Psalm 70

Thursday Night: We continue in Mark

Halloween Alternative is offered at the Assembly of God Church in Dover-Foxcroft tonight from 6-8 p.m. No costumes please.

Be sure to vote:   This Tuesday, November 2.

Daylight Savings Time: Ends at 2 a.m. on November 7. Remember to turn your clocks back an hour next Saturday night!

Craving some pesto?  What about bruschetta?  Maybe you're hungry for some old-fashioned spaghetti and meatballs! Regardless, come enjoy a night of potluck food and fellowship on Friday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. at David & Erin Bridges' home.  This evening is just for the adults in our fellowship.  The theme (in case you haven't noticed) is Italian.  Bring your favorite Italian dish to share.  Main, side, and dessert dishes are all welcome.  Please see David or Erin for directions/questions.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

Church Bookstore: Please avail yourself of this resource.  It’s a great way to obtain personal study aids, reading material, Bibles, gifts, etc., for yourself and others, taking advantage of the Church’s discount and no shipping fees.

This month our ministry focus is centered around First Step Pregnancy Resource Center: We have some empty baby bottles up back for you to take, fill with spare change, and bring back for donation to help them offer free confidential pregnancy tests along with resources to help women and men make an informed choice.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes:  Our friends at Pleasant Meadows had a blast packing shoeboxes with items that were donated by our church, so if anyone would like to donate more shoebox items, we can ship them over there as well and let them have another crack at it.  Also, for a little extra incentive, we are having a friendly competition with Calvary Chapel Belfast to see which of us can pack more boxes.  There is a table in the back with more information, or see Kevin or Lisa Bowden.

Tithes and Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
