Today’s Message: 1 John 2:24-3:10 "Are You Ready?"

Tonight: Fellowship Supper & DVD

Thursday Night: We continue in Mark

Join Us Tonight: For special guest speaker Bob McEwen via DVD. There will be a fellowship supper at 5:30 p.m. prior to the video message.

This month our ministry focus is centered around First Step Pregnancy Resource Center: We have some empty baby bottles up back for you to take, fill with spare change, and bring back for donation to help them offer free confidential pregnancy tests along with resources to help women make an informed choice.

Fall Family Fun Night: October 10 at the home of Beth and Bill Goode.  See Michelle for more details.

Next Ladies’ Bible Study: We are in 2 Peter, and on Tuesday, October 12, at noon, we will be going over the questions on Chapter 1 from our study guides, which are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, and are available on the resource table as well.  Please join us!

All Unregistered Voters: Are encouraged to register to vote in preparation for the upcoming November 2 statewide General and Referendum Election.  You can do so easily from your own home by following this link:  http://www.voteyourfaith.org/  If you do not have internet access, please ask the Pastor to provide access for you to register using a computer at church.  If you want to register to vote by this means, the cut-off date is Tuesday, October 12, 2010, for the General Election, with no cut-off date for registering to vote in person at your town office.

Men: Wednesday night, October 13, at 6 p.m., is our next "Armed and Dangerous" meeting.

Ladies’ Breakfast & Swap:  Saturday, October 16, at 8:30 a.m.  Please bring something to share for breakfast.  Bring in your gently used items (clothing, jewelry, kitchen items, bedding, decorations, accessories, etc.) for which you no longer have a use.  You will be able to swap your items with those that you may find more useful.  Have fun and be creative!  Don't forget to bring a friend!

Tithes and Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
