Next Ladies’ Bible Study: We are in 2 Peter, and on Tuesday, October 12, at noon, we will be going over the questions on Chapter 1 from our study guides, which are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, as well as on the resource table.  Please join us!

All Unregistered Voters: Are encouraged to register to vote in preparation for the upcoming November 2 statewide General and Referendum Election.  You can do so easily from your own home by following this link:  http://www.voteyourfaith.org/  If you do not have internet access, please ask the Pastor to provide access for you to register using a computer at church.  If you want to register to vote by this means, the cut-off date is Tuesday, October 12, 2010, for the General Election, with no cut-off date for registering to vote in person at your town office.

Men: Wednesday night, October 13, at 6 p.m., is our next "Armed and Dangerous" meeting.

Ladies’ Breakfast & Swap:  Saturday, October 16, at 8:30 a.m.  Please bring something to share for breakfast, as well as any gently used items (clothing, jewelry, kitchen items, bedding, decorations, accessories, etc.) for which you no longer have a use to swap for those that you may find more useful.  Have fun, be creative, and don't forget to bring a friend!

Youth Group: Will begin meeting at 6 p.m. on Sunday nights during our evening service beginning on October 17.

Redeeming Our Treasures Conference: This conference on finding joy in the shadows of an abusive past is for men and women and will be held Saturday, October 23, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Charleston Church of the Open Bible.  There is no charge, and morning coffee break and lunch are included.  Two evening sessions are also available on Friday, 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, 6 - 8 p.m., at the Mayo Hospital in the Sebec Room.  Please call Emmy Young at 564-3372 if you are planning to attend.

This month our ministry focus is centered around First Step Pregnancy Resource Center: We have some empty baby bottles up back for you to take, fill with spare change, and bring back for donation to help them offer free confidential pregnancy tests along with resources to help women and men make an informed choice.
