Today’s Scripture Reading:  Isaiah 7:10-14

Today’s Message: II & III John "Diligent and Vigilant for the Truth"

Tonight: We continue in Psalms

Thursday Night: We continue in Mark

Church Bookstore: Is now in our classroom and will be open before and after services.  We also have a lending library as a resource in the room as well.

Pleasant Meadows Outreach: Please join us as we minister today at 12:30 p.m. at Pleasant Meadows Assisted Living.

Operation Christmas Child: If you did not get a chance to fill a shoe box for this Christmas but would still like to, you can go to, where you can “Send-a-Box”, where OCC will pack and ship a shoe box with your donation of $35, or you can “Build-a-Box”, where you can select gifts and personalize your own shoe box.

Ladies’ International Christmas Brunch:  Saturday, December 4, at 10 a.m.  There will be an opportunity to share a little about a missionary or missions organization of your choice.  We will also be writing Christmas cards to the missionaries our church supports.  Please see Michelle or Wanda if you would like to share or help with preparations.  We are encouraging ladies (and girls) to come dressed culturally like the country their missionary is from, as well as bring something to share for the brunch from that country.  Please bring a friend and sign up in advance for what you would like to bring.

Changed Dates for Ladies’ Bible Study: In December, we will be meeting on the first and third Tuesdays instead of the second and fourth Tuesdays.  Our next class will meet on  December 7, at noon.  We will be in 2 Peter, Chapter 2.  Study guides are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, as well as on the resource table.

Men:  Wednesday night, December 8, at 6 p.m., is our next "Armed and Dangerous" meeting.

Christmas Play & Musical Presentation: On Sunday, December 12, at 6 p.m., the youth of Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands will present “All I Want for Christmas is Jesus”.  Refreshments will follow.  Invite a friend or family member!  There will be play practices after church on Sunday, December 5 and 12.  Please bring your own lunch.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!
