Tonight: Church Thanksgiving Dinner

Thursday Night: No Service – Happy Thanksgiving!

Church Thanksgiving Dinner: Tonight at 5 p.m. at Morton in the gym. There is a sign-up sheet on the food table for the dish you would like to bring. Take this opportunity to invite your family and acquaintances who may not regularly attend church. Opportunities to serve will be available to clean the kitchen, set up, donate and/or cook turkeys, and clean up after the dinner.  There will be no Youth Group this evening.

If you would like to share a poem, song, Bible verse, etc., at our Thanksgiving dinner, please let Michelle know.

No Men’s Prayer Breakfast: This month, due to Thanksgiving.

Next Ladies’ Bible Study: Tuesday, November 23, at noon.  We are in 2 Peter.  Study guides are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, as well as on the resource table.

Prayer Meeting: All are welcome to join us for open prayer at Morton on Wednesday, November 24, at 6 p.m.

Ladies’ International Christmas Brunch:  Saturday, December 4, at 10 a.m.  There will be an opportunity to share a little about a missionary or missions organization of your choice.  We will also be writing Christmas cards to the missionaries our church supports.  Please see Michelle or Wanda if you would like to share or help with preparations.  We are encouraging ladies (and girls) to come dressed culturally like the country their missionary is from, as well as bring something to share for the brunch from that country.  Please bring a friend and sign up in advance for what you would like to bring.

Christmas Play & Musical Presentation:  Sunday, December 12, at 6 p.m., followed by refreshments.  Invite a friend or family member!  There will be play practices after church on Sunday, December 5 and 12.  Please bring your own lunch.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

Tithes and Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
