Matthew 24:1-14

“Signs of the Times”

Luke 21

Please join us for a time of praise, petition and intercession as we seek God’s direction, provision and protection upon the ministry and those He has called us to equip, love and encourage.

We continue in Job

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: The International Day of Prayer on November 13th is a global day of intercession for persecuted Christians worldwide.  We will unite in prayer with tens of thousands of churches around the world in solidarity with Christ followers who share our faith but not our freedom.  We will pray and stand ONE WITH THEM.

Thanksgiving Fellowship (Potluck): Next Sunday, November 20th following the morning service.  There is a sign up available.  Please see Michelle for details.

Cancellations: Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-TV (Channel 2 in most areas). The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account (@ccmhtweet).

Ladies Bible Study:  Our ladies Bible study is held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from Noon to 1:00 PM at church.

Ladies Brunch & Craft: Ladies, mark your calendars for December 10th from 10 AM until noon.

Calvay Chapel Orrington Ladies Christmas Dinner with Debi Bryson: December 13th at 6:00 PM

Moms In Touch: Moms-In-Touch prayer group meets regularly from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Tuesdays at Morton Avenue.

Operation Christmas Child: Please turn in all boxes by Novebmer 20th at the latest.  There is a need to assist OCC in the cost of shipping these packges.  If lead to do so, donations can be made out to Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands with “OCC Shipping” in the memo.  Thank you!

Lending Library:  Our lending library is located in our classroom and is available to anyone who would like to borrow resources.  For more information or to check out a resource, see our librarian, Lisa Bowden.  If you have books or other media resources that you wish to donate, see Lisa or Michelle.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Join us at Pleasant Meadows at 12:30 today.

“May God give us hearts that bleed, eyes that are wide open to see, minds that are clear to interpret God’s purpose, wills that are obedient, and a determination that is utterly unflinching as we set about the tasks He would have us to do.”

Minimizing Distractions: To the extent possible, please stay seated once the teaching begins; and please turn off or silence all communication devices.

Tithes & Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Lending Library:  The CCMH Lending Library is looking to add the following texts to its collection.  Please see Lisa or Michelle if you’d like to donate any of these books to the library.  Thank you!
