Last Youth Group for the Summer: On June 4 we will have the last youth fellowship for the summer, with a movie and snacks. Various events for the youth to be held during the summer will be announced as they come up. Ladies’ Bible Study: We meet again on Tuesday, June 8, for our final study of the summer, finishing up 1 Peter. Attention, Men: Mark your calendars for the next “Armed and Dangerous" meeting on Wednesday, June 9, at 6 p.m. Youth Group Car Wash: The Youth Group will be having a fund-raiser car wash at Irving’s in Dover on Saturday, June 12, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. See Kevin or Lisa with any questions. Father’s Day BBQ: There will be a picnic and barbecue on June 20 immediately after the church service. Mark your calendars, and bring meat to grill! Men’s Prayer Breakfast: 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, at Morton. Please invite someone, and bring a breakfast item to share. Troop Package Suggestions: Heart-warming or funny DVD movies; books; assorted candy - must be WRAPPED in unopened packages – PLEASE! No Chocolate Candy! - The weather is too hot [120° F] and chocolate will melt!); instant powdered drink mixes (Gatorade, Tang, Crystal Light, Zingers, Lemonade & Iced Tea are good choices); toiletries: skin care products, sunscreen, chapstick, Visine, hand sanitizers, baby wipes, deodorant, razors, shave gel & dental care products; cookies (non-chocolate only).
