ANNOUNCEMENTS

Local Food Cupboard:  Anyone interested in volunteering their time to help with food distribution, clean-up, organization or prayer ministry to those picking up food items, can contact Pastor Tom Bruce at 717-5319.  We will also be collecting non-perishable food items at church.  A drop-off box will be available.  They are always in need of peanut butter, jelly, and cereal.  Thank you!

Church Picnic:  Today following the Sunday morning service.  Join us for a cookout by the playground.  Bring meat to grill for your family and a side dish to share, as well as lawn chairs.  If you’d like, pack your hiking boots and fishing poles as there is a hiking trail and stream adjacent to the playground.

New Ministry Opportunities: Re-organization of our classroom, card encouragement ministry, visitor greeters and follow up, Sunday morning set-up, bookstore salesperson and lending library organization. Please see Michelle if you would like to help in any of these areas.

Lending Library:  We are in the process of cataloging all of the items in our lending library, which is located in our classroom.  If you would like to volunteer to help or you have Christian books, CD's, DVD's, etc. that you would like to donate, please see Susan Benson or Michelle Homchuck.

June 25th Men’s Breakfast:  Men, mark your calendars for breakfast, Bible study and skeet shoot.

Monthly Ministry Focus:  Haiti Missions

Ladies’ Fellowship Opportunity: Saturday, June 11th at 4 PM at the home of MJ Lucas in Newport.  Bring a lawn chair, something for the grill, and anything else you feel led to bring.  Also, please feel free to invite other ladies to join you.  To RSVP and to obtain directions, contact Vicki (876-1133) or MJ (416-8120).
