ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention Parents:  If you have children in Sunday School (Grades 1 - 6) please sign them in before church begins.  There is a sign-in sheet located on the resource table at the gymnasium entrance.  Children need to be picked up from the Sunday School classroom at the close of the service.  Please note that children may only be released to the adult(s) listed on the sign-in sheet.

Ladies Breakfast: Saturday, April 7th at 8:00 AM.  We will be sharing some healthy eating and breakfast ideas: plan ahead and bring your ideas and recipes.  See the bulletin insert for a list of items you could bring as we will be having a cooking demonstration.  Please invite a friend to join us!  We will also be taking some time to send out cards of encouragement--bring the names and addresses of those to whom we can write.  See Michelle or Erin for more information.

Calvary Chapel Women’s Retreat: May 10-12 at Point Lookout in Northport featuring June Hesterly with Gia leading worship.  Registrations will begin next week with full payment due on April 22nd.  Payments may be made in installments, but full cost must be paid by the deadline to be registered.  Cost is $175.00 per person including meals with 4-6 people per cabin.  

Baby Abishi Has Arrived!:   Baby Abishi is now home with John and Sherri!  Thank you to all who helped out with meals and baby gifts.  If you who would still like to contribute, we will be bringing some baby gifts (diapers, wipes, etc.) to Sherri’s home in Bangor.  We will also be taking meals to their family.  To help out, please call or email Michelle (717-4901 / michelleh@ccmainehighlands.org).  

Magdalena: Through Her Eyes:  From the producers of the Jesus Film, this is a special movie event for women at 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 31st at the Church of the Open Bible in Charleston.  Please call Emmy Young at 564-3372 or email (eby@mainestream.us) to request a free copy of the booklet, “God, Do You Really Care About Me?”  The booklets, as well as a follow-up Bible study will be available at the movie.   magdalenatoday.com

Bookstore:  Check out the bookstore display as there are many new books available including those on the Pastor’s Recommended Reading List.

Pleasant Meadows Ministry: Join us at Pleasant Meadows at 12:30 today.

Ladies Bible Study & Moms In Prayer Group:  Our ladies’ Bible study is held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from Noon to 1:00 PM at church followed by one hour of a Moms in Prayer time.  See Michelle for more information.

Cancellations: Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-TV (Channel 2 in most areas). The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account (@ccmhtweet).
