Christmas in July: During the month of July, we are encouraging everyone to put together one or more Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. For more details on this project, or if you would like to learn more about this ministry, please see Lisa Bowden, who has a special table set up in the back.

Armed and Dangerous Meeting:  Cancelled for July 14.  We will resume again in August.

2010 Summer Family Retreat: Thursday, July 22, through Monday, July 26, at Peaks-Kenny State Park.  If you aren't camping with us, please plan to join us for any of the time that you can. 

Troop Package Suggestions:  Heart-warming or funny DVD movies; books; assorted candy - must be WRAPPED in unopened packages – PLEASE! No Chocolate Candy! - The weather is too hot [120° F] and chocolate will melt!); instant powdered drink mixes (Gatorade, Tang, Crystal Light, Zingers, Lemonade & Iced Tea are good choices); toiletries: skin care products, sunscreen, chapstick, Visine, hand sanitizers, baby wipes, deodorant, razors, shave gel & dental care products; cookies (non-chocolate only).  There is also a list in the classroom for anyone wanting more ideas.  Please see Tracy or Nan Redmond with any questions.
