Today’s Scripture Reading: Psalm 78:40-55

Today’s Message: Exodus 8 & 9 “A Clear Distinction”

Tonight: We continue in Psalms

Thursday Night: We will be sharing what we each have learned from the Book of Jeremiah

Ladies’ Bible Study: Continues Tuesday, February 23, at noon, at Morton.  We are in 1 Peter.  Please see Michelle with any questions, and for a worksheet if you would like to join us, or just study along with us.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast: 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, at Morton, with Pastor Steve Brown doing the teaching.  Please invite someone, and bring a breakfast item to share.

Free Concert: Joshua Littlefield and Peter Beaulieu will be here on Sunday, February 28, at 6 p.m., sharing with us a free night of great acoustic praise and the truth of the Bible.  For more information, please see Tom Polley.  There are free CD’s on the resource table if you would like a sampling of the music.

Operation Christmas Child "Item of the Month" Program:  We are asking for donations of a specific shoebox item each month to hopefully increase our shoebox output for 2010.  February's item of the month will be small stuffed animals for boys or girls.  Post-Valentine’s Day specials/clearances will be a great opportunity to pick up an item or two or more to donate.  Please see Kevin or Lisa Bowden with any questions.

Troop Packages “Item of the Month”: Suggested troop items for February are food items such as:  tuna in packets (not cans); instant drink mixes/foods in individual packages (like Gatorade, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, oatmeal, popcorn, mac&cheese); trail mix; beef jerky/slim jims (a favorite); pop tarts; individually-wrapped hard candy/gum; protein bars/granola bars/breakfast bars; fruit roll-ups/Gushers, etc.  There is also a list in the classroom for anyone wanting more ideas.  If you have any questions, please see Tracy or Nan Redmond.

Baby Shower to Benefit First Step Pregnancy Resource Center: Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at Morton.  We will be having brunch-style foods if you can bring something to share. Baby items will be given to First Step to help new moms & dads who have been attending parenting classes at or sought help from First Step.  First Step provides Biblical counseling and parenting classes for these struggling moms and dads and has helped encourage many to keep their babies rather than opt for abortion.   Gifts do not need to be wrapped, but can be, if you would like.  Suz Kasprzak from First Step PRC will be joining us.  Please see Michelle or Nan for more information.

Youth Group Fundraising Reminder: We continue to collect bottles and cans, with the money going toward future youth group events.
