Ladies’ Christmas Night:  CC Bangor is having a Ladies’ Christmas night this Tuesday, December 7, at 6:30 p.m.  The cost is $5 and includes dessert, music with Gia, and a message by Jeanette.  No advance notice is necessary, and you can pay at the door. 

Bad Weather Cancellations:  Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-TV (Channel 2 in most areas).  The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account:

Operation Christmas Child: If you did not get a chance to fill a shoe box for this Christmas but would still like to, you can go to, where you can “Send-a-Box”, where OCC will pack and ship a shoe box with your donation of $35, or you can “Build-a-Box”, where you can select gifts and personalize your own shoe box.

Changed Dates for Ladies’ Bible Study: In December, we will be meeting on the first and third Tuesdays instead of the second and fourth Tuesdays.  Our next class will meet on December 7, at noon.  We will be in 2 Peter, Chapter 2.  Study guides are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, as well as on the resource table.

Men! This Wednesday, December 8, at 6 p.m. is our monthly Armed and Dangerous Meeting.

Christmas Play & Musical Presentation: On Sunday, December 12, at 6 p.m., the youth of Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands will present “All I Want for Christmas is Jesus”.  Refreshments will follow.  Invite a friend or family member!  There will be play practices after church on Sunday, December 5 and 12.  Please bring your own lunch.

Caroling: Thursday, December 16.  Please join us at Morton Avenue at 5:30 p.m. for some rehearsal; we will then meet at McDonald’s at 6:15 p.m. to begin caroling at 6:30 p.m.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!
