Today’s Scripture Reading: Advent Reading

Today’s Message:  Luke 2:1-20 "Blue Collar Evangelist"

Tonight: We continue in Psalms

Thursday Night: We continue in Mark

Ladies’ Bible Study: Will meet again on December 21, at 11:30 a.m.  This Tuesday we will have a short season-specific devotional, followed by a lunch at noon.  We will also be swapping ornaments as gifts.  Just bring an inexpensive ornament, either wrapped or in a gift bag, not labeled, and we will have a Christmas exchange.  See Betty Ann or Michelle for more details.

Wednesday night prayer will not meet during the month of December.  We continue our prayer time on Sunday nights after Bible study in Psalms.

Christmas Eve Service: On Friday, December 24, at 6 p.m., at Morton.  Come join us for a special time of worship.

No Men’s Prayer Breakfast: This month.  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Caroling: Please join us as we minister at Pleasant Meadows on December 26 with some Christmas caroling.

Operation Christmas Child: If you did not get a chance to fill a shoe box for this Christmas but would still like to, you can go to, where you can “Send-a-Box”, where OCC will pack and ship a shoe box with your donation of $35, or you can “Build-a-Box”, where you can select gifts and personalize your own shoe box.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

Bad Weather Cancellations:  Should any Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands service or event be cancelled, an announcement of the cancellation will be broadcast on WJCX 99.5 FM and WLBZ-TV (Channel 2 in most areas).  The cancellation announcement will also be posted to the church homepage and church Twitter account:
Twitter Name: @ccmhtweet

Tithes and Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
