ANNOUNCEMENTS

Calvary Chapel Bangor Ladies Christmas Event:  Join us on Tuesday, December 4th at 6:00 PM at Calvary Chapel, Orrington, for special music and guest speaker Jean McClure.  Cost for the event is $10.00 and includes dinner (soup, salad & dessert).  Go to ccbangor.org to register by December 2nd.  You must pre-pay to attend.  See Michelle about carpooling.

Ladies Christmas Breakfast & Craft Time:  Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 8th, 8:00 - 11:00 AM.  Sign up for what you can bring for breakfast and pick up a copy of the craft supply sheets on the snack table.  If you would like to participate in our Christmas-Cookie Swap, please bring two dozen Christmas cookies.  Please see Michelle if you can help with setup.

Gospel For Asia Christmas Gift:  We will be collecting financial gifts toward a “Jesus Well”.  There are envelopes available on the offering box table for your donations which can be placed in the offering box.  Donations are due by Sunday, December 9th.  Checks should be made out to Calvary Chapel.

Sunday Children’s Ministry:  0-3 years of age will be in the nursery, and 4-9 year olds will be dismissed for Sunday school after worship.  Ages 10 to 12 will remain in the service until Dec. 30th.  Don’t forget to sign your child(ren) in before church.  Please come to the classroom after church as children will not be released from Sunday School until signed out.   The sign-in form is located on the resource table.

Sunday School Christmas Party & Christmas Caroling:  Sunday, December 9th.  We will be serving sandwiches, veggies, juice, cake and snacks after the morning service followed by a visit to Pleasant Meadows at 12:30 to sing Christmas carols and to pass out ornaments to the residents.  If you can bring something for lunch, sign up for what you will be bringing.  Please let Michelle know if your family plans to join us.

Tithes & Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
