Today’s Message: Genesis 25:27-26:33 “Trials & Triumphs in a Life of Faith”

Tonight: Bible
Study & Prayer

Thursday Night:
Book of Jeremiah

Nursery/Pre-School:  To create a safe, ideal environment for learning in the Nursery/Pre-School area, we ask that only workers and parents either dropping off or picking up their children go into the Nursery room.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Free Concert:
Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands will be hosting a free concert on Sunday, September 6, at 6 p.m. at the Dover-Foxcroft Municipal Building at 49 Morton Avenue.  Dove Award singer Grant Norsworthy, formerly from the Paul Coleman Trio and the worship group SONICFLOOD, is now performing internationally on his own.  This will be a great concert, and he will be sharing his heart with us about what true worship is.  This has come together very quickly and we need your help getting the word out.  Check out the insert, and if you have any questions, call David or Michelle Homchuck at 564-9058 or Tom Polley at 876-2017.

Inside the Revolution National Town Hall Meeting: Live Webcast Event to discuss the theat of Radical Islam, the future of Israel, and the role of the Church in the Middle East, will be held on Friday, September 11, at 7 p.m. at SeDoMoCha Middle School in the Art Room.  For more information, please see the insert.  There is also a link to more details on our website home page at

Food Cupboard: If anyone has any extra veggies in their gardens and wants to bless others, the food cupboard for the Dover-Foxcroft area is at the old Town Office building on East Main Street.  The food can be dropped off Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon for distribution on Thursday.  Just leave your donation inside the front entrance of the building if no one is there.  Distribution occurs every Thursday.

Troop Packages: There is a donation box on the back table with a list of items needed by our troops.  We collect these items and send out packages on a quarterly basis.  If you have any questions, please see Tracy or Nan Redmond.

Ride Ministry
: We offer a ride ministry for church services for those with no vehicle, or for those experiencing vehicle troubles.  If you or someone you know would benefit from this, please see Kevin Bowden.

Missions: Our goals and ambitions for ministry in a foreign land seem lofty and beyond our ability.  Perhaps this is the posture God wants of us; we’ll at least know for sure that whatever progress occurs follows His might and accrues to His glory.

The question about future ministry still hovers over us.  But this much is clear:

the Bible commands us to go,
the field hopes we will come,
the figures show us the need,
the Spirit promises us the strength,
the Judgment means we must go.

An eternity will record our reply.
