ANNOUNCEMENTS

Neighborhood Outreach Cookout - Sunday, Aug. 21st @ 5 p.m. :  We will be hosting a free cookout and special children’s presentation given by Child Evangelism Fellowship missionary Donna Woerter from Alaska.  Donna will be sharing the wordless gospel colors book.  We will be inviting families from the neighboring trailer park and surrounding area.  Please invite anyone you would like.  We will provide hot dogs and hamburgers and will need help providing side dishes, drinks, and desserts.  Please see Michelle if you can help.

Snacks for the Kiddos:  Our children’s ministry snack supply is in need of replenishment.  If you would like to contribute, please see Michelle.

Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference (Orrington): August 27th.  Register at ccbangor.org. Please note that guest speaker Pastor Joe Focht will also be teaching on Friday evening, August 26th.  All are invited to attend this special night of teaching.

Summer Evangelizing Opportunities: We have been blessed with the opportunity to team up with the United Baptist and Abbot Evangelical Free churches this summer to serve during the Piscataquis Valley Fair (August 25-28).  If you are interested, please contact Vicki French.

New Ministry Opportunities: Card encouragement ministry, visitor greeters and follow up, Sunday morning set-up, bookstore salesperson and lending library organization. Please see Michelle if you would like to help in any of these areas.

Lending Library:  Our lending library is located in our classroom and is available to anyone who would like to borrow resources.  For more information or to check out a resource, see our librarian, Lisa Bowden.  If you have books or other media resources that you wish to donate, see Lisa or Michelle.

Tithes & Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)
