Thursday Night: We begin the Book of Mark

Tonight:  At 6 p.m. we will be watching portions of a DVD – Faith Lessons on the Death and Resurrection of the Messiah.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

New Thursday Night Study: On April 8, we start our study in the Book of Mark "Jesus, Servant of The Father".

Youth Group Event: We will be taking the youth to Seventh Day Slumber on Saturday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Waterville.  Anyone who would like to come, please contact Kevin or Lisa Bowden at 876-4741. Tickets will be $10 if we can get a group of ten or more. There will be no youth group that night.

Ladies’ Bible Study:
We meet again on Tuesday, April 13, at noon, at Morton. We are in 1 Peter.  Please see Michelle with any questions, and for a worksheet if you would like to join us or just study along with us.

  Our next men’s study will be on April 14.  Topic: “Pursuing Your Spiritual Goal”

Beth Moore Simulcast:
The United Baptist Church located at 8 Pleasant Street in Milo will be presenting a free simulcast event on Saturday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which Beth Moore will be teaching from her latest book, So Long, Insecurity.  The event is free, but they ask anyone interested in attending to call to register by Monday, April 12, due to limited seating.  You can leave a message at their telephone number of 943-5500.  There will be a lunch break between 12 and 1:30 p.m., for which they will be providing chips, hot and cold drinks, and dessert, but ask that you bring your own sandwich.  For more information on the event, you can go to its web page,  www.ccn.tv/bethmoore2010.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast: 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Morton.  Please invite someone, and bring a breakfast item to share.
