Ladies’ Bible Study: We meet again on Tuesday, April 13, at noon, at Morton. We are in 1 Peter.  Please see Michelle with any questions, and for a worksheet if you would like to join us or just study along with us.

Attention, Men:  “Armed and Dangerous" meeting this Wednesday night, April 14,  at 6 p.m.  Our text will be Hebrews 12:1-4 “Achieving Your Goal”.

Attention, Ladies: 
Please join us for an informational coffee to learn more about Moms In Touch International, a Christian prayer ministry where women gather to pray for children and schools. The introductory meeting will be held Friday, April 16, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. here at the Morton Ave. building, Suite E.  If you have any questions or for more information, please contact Vicki French at 876-1133.

Compassion Sunday: is April 18.  Information will be available on how you can sponsor a Compassion child and learn more about this ministry.  We will also hear about the two children Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands sponsors and how you can help minister to these children.

Beth Moore Simulcast:
The United Baptist Church located at 8 Pleasant Street in Milo will be presenting a free simulcast event on Saturday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which Beth Moore will be teaching from her latest book, So Long, Insecurity.  The event is free, but they ask anyone interested in attending to call to register by Monday, April 12, if possible, due to limited seating.  You can leave a message at their telephone number of 943-5500.  There will be a lunch break between 12 and 1:30 p.m., for which they will be providing chips, hot and cold drinks, and dessert, but ask that you bring your own sandwich.  For more information on the event, you can go to its web page,  www.ccn.tv/bethmoore2010.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast:
7 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Morton.  Please invite someone, and bring a breakfast item to share.

Children’s Ministry Need: Snacks for the nursery and Sunday School are in need of replenishing.  Containers of pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc., and bottles of juice or cans of juice concentrate would be greatly appreciated.  Please bring any donations to the Sunday School classroom.  Thank you so much for your generosity!
