We will also be collecting non-perishable food items at church. A drop-off box will be available. They are always in need of peanut butter, jelly, and cereal. Thank you! Safe Families Training Day: April 30, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Calvary Chapel School Chapel. Attention all Safe family volunteers: if you have not started or completed your training, please be prepared to attend this one day which will allow you to get all you need to host a child and be a resource parent. It is also necessary for those that wish to be mentors and case coaches. It is expected that at least one host family member be in attendance. We will be providing coffee & snacks for the morning, and lunch is included for free. Please contact Mike Warman confirming your attendance at mikewarman@ccbangor.org. New ladies study starting in April: Live Relationally, a study of the women of Genesis. Please join us Tuesday, April 26th at noon. Books can be purchased through the bookstore. New Ministry Opportunities: Cleaning, painting and re-organization or our classroom, card encouragement ministry, visitor greeters and follow up, Sunday morning set-up, bookstore salesperson and lending library organization. Please see Michelle if you would like to help in any of these areas. Passover Seder Meal: Sunday, April 17th at 5 p.m. Please sign up for this celebration as we see Christ in the Passover. See Michelle for suggestions on Passover foods (some suggestions are on the snack table) or if you would be able to help with set-up or clean-up. Lending Library: We are in the process of cataloging all of the items in our lending library, which is located in our classroom. If you would like to volunteer to help or you have Christian books, CD's, DVD's, etc. that you would like to donate, please see Susan Benson or Michelle Homchuck. Monthly Ministry Focus: Compassion International Calvary Chapel Women’s Retreat: Women's 2011 Retreat: May 12th - 14th at Point Lookout in Lincolnville. Registrations and payments need to be turned in to CCMH no later than Thursday, April 21st. Ladies can register to arrive Thursday or Friday. Speakers this year will be Sandy MacIntosh and June Hesterly with music by Sherri Youngward.
